“Paradise”, sung by Alek Sandar in collaboration with Dutch producers Voster & Gallardo, feels like a breath of fresh air. This bright, up-tempo EDM track will put anyone into a good mood. Alongside its vibrant production are lyrics that will speak to a lot of people, and a hard-hitting beat that will make you want to dance. And of course, an awesome EDM drop.

The song begins quietly, and the lyrics are quite somber: “love always made a mess of me, broken heart got the best of me.” The lyrics in the verses are emotional, honest, and vulnerable. Alek Sandar tells a story relatable to many: learning to love again after a major heartbreak. The first verse and second verse are similar in lyric and melody, but with small lyric variations to keep it interesting. However, the song’s lyrics take a much brighter turn in the pre-chorus and chorus, matching up to its vibrant and exciting production.

"Me, You, & the Moon" spreads a message of positivity and love. The concept behind the “Me, You and the Moon” video was to showcase the LGBTQ+ community specifically, bi-sexuality. The video showcases a luxurious lifestyle but most importantly a diverse range of beauty, equality and love.

Equality is our birthright as human beings. Equality needs to be across the board. When we live in a world of inequality people suffer. When we live in a world of equality all of us are then allowed to be our full complete uninhibited selves. Our true selves, our most and highest potential of self-expression.

This new release, "MYM - Me, You & the Moon - The Remixes", showcases Alek Sandar’s versatility and serves up five fresh takes on his hit single “Me, You, & the Moon” that are sure to get each listener up and dancing.

The first two tracks on Sandar’s remix package are remixed by Nikola Tomov, a.k.a. Nic Toms. As a Bulgarian electronic artist, Nic Toms loves his spacious, airy vocals that are typical of the EDM scene in Sofia, Bulgaria and doesn’t shy away from using the technique in his new tracks. The original remix starts out with a creeping baseline and a faint ticking that’s sure to raise your heartrate as it builds to the first drop. From then on, the track bounces and shimmers around Alek's vocals with a sound that screams bliss. The extended version, on the other hand, is more meticulous and shows that Nic Toms carefully built the atmosphere of the track, ensuring the drop hits even harder. Nearly hypnotic, the extended remix features mystical vocals and a grungy bass that transform the mix into one that emphasizes the lyrics and plays out as a track you can dance and sing along to. Whether you want to feel the bass in your soul or scream sing at the top of your lungs, Nic Toms’ remixes will provide.

The third track on the remix package is by bass-house producer, Nomad. Hard-hitting and sure to keep to you on your toes, Nomad’s remix of “Me, You, & the Moon” is unlike anything you’ve heard before. Glitchy and futuristic, the track seems to be set in a dystopia, with sirens wailing in the background and the vocals repeatedly interrupted by a dark, thumping bass. As the track goes on, listeners are sure to get lost in the beautifully orchestrated chaos, where the only light comes from the occasional chorus of Alek Sandar's vocals. Though innovative and intricate, Nomad’s work is also exceptionally clean. With the amount of offshoots and littering of sounds, I’m truly impressed with the way Nomad brought together the piece in a cohesive and moving way. To experience the sound of the future, go listen to Nomad’s remix now.

The Sim Vegas mix of MYM, though still electronic, offers a fresh new take on the track that’s more intimate, clearer, and personal. The focus on this track is obviously the story behind the track and plays like a fast-paced love that you just can’t seem to get enough of. With sliding bass lines and up-front vocals, the track mimics the turbulence in an intense relationship and feels like an absolute whirlwind. The bridge, for the first time, highlights a high-pitched flute that serves as a short, delicate interlude as you prepare yourself for the next drop. Romantic and fiery, Alek Sandar’s new Sim Vegas mix of MYM is a hit.

Alek Sandar's latest track, “Terra”, features an incredibly spacious mix with elements of traditional eastern European vocals playing in the background through the chorus. The song’s lyrics present a tragic reality in the verses, which mix with more positive lyrics in the chorus offers a subtle contrast, also contrasting the intensity of the pads used and the recurring minor chords. The combination of these creates another hit from the pop idol that embodies his signature style in a fresh but familiar way.

The release comes accompanied by a visually stunning official music video recorded in New York. Alek has been working on this release for a little under a year and it is extremely clear he’s a rising star.

Alek Sandar’s latest release, “Terra”, has been reimagined by producer Ruff and its new rendition adds dimension to an already great track. The New Jersey-based producer has been keeping busy since the beginning of the pandemic and has released several tracks including his very popular “Self Sabotage”, "Without It", "Love Yourself", and "Reasons". His style shines bright in this new remix.

The original song featured a somber feel with elements of traditional eastern European sounds and vocal samples. The lyrics of the song play into this melancholic atmosphere that is further amplified by the combination of minor chords and pads/effects used in the chorus. Ruff decided to barely manipulate the vocals and left the general structure of the song intact. His edits came more in the shape of placing the song in a different sonic context.

'Hey Mami' is one of Alek Sandar’s biggest hits so far. The 2018 record features famous rapper Atanas Kolev and was produced by Alek Sandar & Nic Toms. The attractive video clip is set in a Mars-like environment full of special effects, UFOs, high-fashion alien outfits and was nominated in the category ‘Video Clip of the Year’ at the Bulgarian Music Awards.

The video clip itself has 2 million views on YouTube, with the making-of-video having a remarkable 100k views itself. The song is over 365,000 streams on Spotify. Hundreds of people created their own cover songs online and the song also entered Bulgaria’s YouTube Top 20 trending category.
